MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The widow of a young soldier who died during basic training in Missouri earlier this year is dead after a car crash.
Twenty-one-year-old Danyele Stout of Martinsburg ran off state Route 9 and struck a tree earlier this week.
She was the widow of 25-year-old Pfc. Tyler Stout of Kearneysville, who died during physical training at Fort Leonard Wood in April. He had been assigned to B Company of the 795th Military Police Battalion.
David Asam, who owns the Bavarian Inn hotel and restaurant in Shepherdstown, said Wednesday that Danyele Stout worked for him in housekeeping.
She is survived by a son, Tyler Stout II.
