The Missouri volleyball team won its second match at the Michigan Challenge, dropping Morehead State 25-15, 23-25, 25-19, 25-8 on Friday at Cliff Keen Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich. Junior outside hitter Julianna Klein led the Tigers (6-2) with 16 kills and 10 digs, both season-high marks. Klein also hit a season-best .324 in the match.
In the first match of the tournament earlier Friday, Missouri swept VCU 25-14, 25-17, 25- 23. Junior outside hitter Paola Ampudia paced the Tigers by hitting a team-best .500 in the match while posting 11 kills and four blocks, all career-highs.
Missouri will continue tournament at 1:30 p.m. Saturday against Fairfield.
