Columbia College soccer team on a roll

The Columbia College men's soccer team defeated Iowa's St. Ambrose University 2-0 on Saturday night. The Cougars, who earned their fifth victory in six chances, outshot St. Ambrose 19-4.

Freshman forward Yudai Yamaguchi started the scoring for Columbia College (5-1) with his goal in the 17th minute, and sophomore defender Brian Eike netted the insurance goal. Ken Searles started in the nets for the Cougars and earned the shutout.

Columbia College will host Missouri Valley College next Wednesday.
