COLUMBIA — A St. Louis teenager is lucky today. Although her vehicle was overturned on the interstate, she suffered only minor injuries.

At about 12:25 p.m., Grace Turney's green Ford minivan overturned on eastbound Interstate 70, near the 140-mile marker.

Missouri state trooper Gary Gundy said Turney told him she swerved from the left lane to the center median to avoid a car pulling toward her from the right.

Gundy described Turney's injuries as very minor. Gundy said an ambulance took Turney, 19, from the scene to University Hospital. No passengers or other cars were involved in the accident.
