Clinical trials for H1N1 vaccine run at SLU

ST. LOUIS — Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Director Margaret Donnelly is urging Missourians to get vaccinated against the H1N1 virus and seasonal flu.

This morning, Donnelly plans to tour a Saint Louis University facility that is overseeing clinical trials for a vaccine against the H1N1 virus. The school is one of several across the country that is testing flu vaccines to ensure they are safe and effective.

SLU officials overseeing the vaccine tests and Donnelly are to hold a news conference after the tour to start a statewide campaign encouraging people to get vaccinated.
