SPRINGFIELD — Springfield police say a 17-year-old was seriously injured during a fight when a Molotov cocktail he meant to throw at another teen exploded.
Police say the incident happened early Wednesday when the two teens were fighting at a mobile home park in Springfield.
The 17-year-old reportedly was about to throw the fire bomb when the other teen hit it with a stick, causing it to explode. The boy who was the target of the attack put out the flames on the 17-year-old.
