Columbia College volleyball team remains undefeated

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's volleyball team defeated William Woods 25-16, 25-21, 25-21 on Saturday at Southwell Complex to push its record to 12-0. 

The Cougars, No.4 in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll, also moved to 4-0 in the American Midwest Conference.

The women completed 44 percent of their attack attempts, compiling 54 kills for the match, while William Woods managed just 23. 

Cate Eckhardt led the Cougars with 16 kills and 12 digs, while freshman Paula Ferreria totaled 36 assists. 

Columbia College continues its season at 7 p.m. Monday night when they travel to face McKendree in Lebanon, Ill.
