Despite an early lead and a strong performance by Caitlyn Vann, the Mizzou volleyball team faltered Saturday against Oklahoma.

In their second match of conference play, the Tigers fell to 8-4 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12 in a 21-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-15 loss in Norman, Okla.

Missouri junior libero Caitlyn Vann had a season-best 21 digs. Vann's 1,050 digs places her eighth all-time at Mizzou, and she needs 17 more digs to bump her into sixth place. Junior outside hitter Julianna Klein added 11 kills.

The team has its next match at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when UMKC comes to Columbia.
