ROOTS ‘N BLUES 'N BBQ Festival
HOURS: 5:15 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday
FORECAST: The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of a thunderstorm after 7 p.m. Friday and a slightly greater possibility for showers on Saturday.
STAGES: Seventh and Locust streets; Flat Branch Park at Fourth and Cherry streets; Peace Park at Sixth and Elm streets.
PARKING: Free parking at four city garages: Eighth and Cherry streets; Sixth and Cherry streets; Tenth and Cherry streets; and Eighth and Walnut streets.
SHUTTLES: Shuttles run every half hour from Reactor Field on Providence Road to the Columbia Convention & Visitor’s Bureau at Providence Road and Elm Street. Shuttle hours are: 4-11:45 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-11:45 p.m. on Saturday.
STREET CLOSURES: These streets will be closed from 9 a.m. on Friday
to 4 a.m. on Sunday.

● Locust Street between Sixth and Eighth streets
● Elm Street between Sixth and Eighth street
RESTRICTIONS: No coolers, pets, umbrellas, cans or glass bottles.
BICYCLES: Valet bike parking at Shakespeare’s Pizza.
TICKETS: Tickets are required for concerts in restricted areas. One-day passes are $10 in advance and $15 during the festival; two-day passes are $15 in advance and $25 during the festival.
BARBECUE JUDGING: Noon Saturday in the BBQ Village, between Broadway and Locust streets, Fourth and Sixth streets.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE: Police, fire officials and EMTs will be on-site.
LOST & FOUND: At the information booth in the free area of the festival.
