The Missouri men's golf team finished in a three-way tie for second place Tuesday at the Kansas Invitational with an 888 over three rounds.

The Tigers finished two strokes behind winner Oklahoma. It was the second time in the past three tournaments that the Tigers have finished second or better. They won the Turning Stone Intercollegiate in the season opener.

Redshirt freshman Jace Long finished second individually with a three-round 214. The career best for Long was three behind Kansas' Nate Barbee's 211. Kansas and Louisiana-Lafayette also finished with 888s.

The Tigers play next Wednesday at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic in South Bend, Ind.
