COLUMBIA — An $8.5 million interactive children's museum that opened to great fanfare last year continues to struggle.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reported that the YouZeum has reduced its general admission hours to two days a week and lost its second director in a year. Museum leaders projected that it would attract 60,000 visitors a year. Instead, annual attendance is about 18,000.
