MU's athletics department looking for anthem singers

COLUMBIA — MU's athletics department is looking for a few good singers.

Open tryouts for prospective "Star Spangled Banner" singers are set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the main floor at Mizzou Arena.

Selected singers can expect to perform the national anthem before men's and women's home basketball games as well as other events throughout the year.
