COLUMBIA — Would-be college hoops stars will be able to get some free coaching from current Missouri basketball players at a Saturday youth clinic downtown.

The free clinic runs from 10 a.m until noon at Douglass Park's outdoor courts. Players and coaches will provide the instruction. The event is geared toward players in elementary and middle school. The clinic will be rescheduled for a later date if there is rain.

Missouri is coming off a school record 31 wins and a regional finals appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Coach Mike Anderson signed a new seven-year contract following the season after spurning interest from Georgia and Memphis.
