*CORRECTION: The Hickman homecoming queen was chosen by a vote of the student body. An earlier version of this story incorrectly characterized the selection process.
Both Hickman and Rock Bridge high schools celebrated homecoming on Friday night. Both teams won their football games:
- Hickman defeated Gateway Tech, a St. Louis area school, 19-18.
- Rock Bridge defeated the Riverview Gardens Rams 36-32.
Hickman student Taylor Arnold was selected homecoming queen.* She also raised $2,130 for the Susan G. Komen For the Cure, an organization that supports breast cancer research.
Rock Bridge senior Monique White was crowned queen during the halftime ceremonies at the school.
