COLUMBIA — In an effort to lessen late-night noise downtown, Shiloh Bar and Grill on Broadway erected an 8-foot plywood wall on the edge of its property.

A proposed change in the city's noise ordinance could ease restrictions downtown and bring down the wall.

Columbia Missourian editor Scott Swafford and reporter James Patrick Schmidt talk about the issue and the proposed changes.

Following the interview, the Special Business District Board met and recommended changing the proposed noise ordinance.
