After just swimming the night before, the Tigers managed a third-place finish in Friday's day-long Big 12 Relays.
The Missouri women accumulated 75 points, placing them behind Texas with 103 and Texas A&M with 109.
The Tigers saved the best for last. They won the 100-yard freestyle relay, giving them their only first place finish in the last race of the meet. The Tiger relay, which consisted of sophomore Lisa Nathanson, freshman Cassie Cunningham, senior Kim Jasmer, and junior Francie Szostak, edged out Texas with a time of 42.52.
The team also grabbed second in the 100-yard medley relay with a time of 47.30, finishing just short of Texas who recorded a time of 47.05.
The Tigers were consistent, logging 15 third-place finishes throughout the rest of the meet.
For the third straight day, the Missouri women's swim team will return to the pool Saturday to face Texas A&M in its second dual meet in three days. The meet begins at 10 a.m. at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
