Missouri soccer team moves to top of Big 12

The Missouri women's soccer team claimed first place in the Big 12 Conference standings with a 1-0 double-overtime victory Sunday at Oklahoma. Senior Michelle Collins scored 27 seconds into the second overtime period for her team-leading sixth goal of the season.
The Tigers improved to 10-4-3 overall and remain unbeaten in conference play at 5-0-2. Missouri's eight-game unbeaten streak is a program record. Oklahoma fell to 7-9-1 overall and 2-6-0 in the Big 12.

In was the Tigers' fifth overtime game of the season. They outshot the Sooners 26-10, including a 12-4 advantage in shots on goal. Senior goalkeeper Tasha Dittamore made four saves for her third shutout of the season, extending her career record to 16.
The Tigers face Iowa State in a senior night game at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Walton Stadium.
