COLUMBIA — Two Missouri women's soccer players earned weekly awards after the team's successful road trip last weekend.
Senior Crystal Wagner was named Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week award after helping Missouri shut out Baylor 5-0 on Friday in Waco, Texas. The Tigers allowed the Bears only five shots and only one on goal. Wagner also helped shut down Oklahoma's Whitney Palmer, one of the nation's leading scorers, in a 1-0 victory over the Sooners.
