MoDOT to sell land statewide

JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Department of Transportation is trying to sell 23 parcels of land across the state.

The department wants to sell the properties by mid-November and started advertising the land this week. Transportation officials say the agency no longer needs the properties.

Some of the parcels include improvements, such as storage buildings.

The land sales will be handled by the department's district offices. Virtual tours of some properties can be viewed at www.modot.org/realtyforsale.
