COLUMBIA — Four men have been arrested on a charge of second-degree burglary in connection with a burglary at Hearnes Center, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

A surveillance video released to the public shows only two men and two women entering Room 281 of Hearnes Center on Sept. 27, but Capt. Brian Weimer said two other men were identified through further investigation. Clothing from the MU department of athletics was later found missing.

Police are no longer considering the two women in the video as suspects. Because those arrested are juveniles, their names cannot be released.

In an unrelated case, Columbia police are still seeking community assistance in identifying the three men and one woman in photos from an assault that took place Sept. 19 near the southeast corner of Maryland Avenue Garage.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 875-8477, or submit information online at 875tips.com. Individuals will remain anonymous and can be eligible for a reward of up to $1,500 if the information leads to an arrest.
