COLUMBIA — The Missouri women's soccer team refused to relent against Nebraska on Sunday. Up 2-0 at halftime, the team continued to put on the pressure, scoring three goals in the second half en-route to the program's first Big 12 regular season championship. Alysha Bonnick led the way for the Tigers, scoring two goals in the second half.
The conference championship is the first for the program and
only the second Big 12 regular season conference title for any Missouri team since
women’s softball took it in 1997.
