COLUMBIA — Former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and a Bush administration surgeon general headlined the list of speakers Friday at a Missouri health care summit.
MU's Center for Health Policy was hosting the session at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia.
Daschle, a Democrat from South Dakota, was scheduled to speak Friday morning, with Richard Carmona speaking later in the day. Carmona was the surgeon general from 2002 to 2006.
Other speakers include the directors of Missouri's social services and health and senior services departments.
