COLUMBIA — Columbia police responded to an accident on Worley Street just east of Clinkscales Road on Monday.
According to Officer Kim Green, she arrived at 3:25 p.m. to the scene.

Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts and no one was reported injured.
The crash involved four cars: a red Kia Soul, white Ford Mustang, black Kia Optima and silver Toyota Camry. The driver of the Camry, Mian Hussein, said that he was paying attention to road construction when he realized that cars were slowing. He added that he went to brake but did not act quickly enough and crashed into the car in front of him.
The driver of the Optima, Jerry Grace, said he was stopped when he was struck from behind by Hussein's vehicle, causing him to hit the Mustang in front of him. The Mustang then hit the Soul that was stopped in front of it.
According to Green, all of the drivers and passengers were wearing their seat belts, and no airbags deployed. Rossnette Cheaton, the driver of the Mustang, did report foot pain and received medical attention at the scene. Green added that, by the time she arrived, an ambulance was already leaving, and there appeared to be no injuries.
The front two cars received minor damage, including bent license plates and paint scuffs. The Optima also received damage to its front license plate, as well as damage to its back bumper and a dent in the trunk. The Camry’s hood was dented and its front bumper was damaged.
Green said at the scene that Hussein would be cited for either following too closely or colliding with another vehicle.
