COLUMBIA — "ESPN the Magazine" has named two Missouri football players to the College Sports Information Directors of America's Academic All-District 7 team.

Senior offensive lineman, Kurtis Gregory, was named to the first team with a 3.48 GPA. Gregory is in his second year of graduate school, working towards a graduate degree in agricultural systems management. He earned his undergraduate degree in three years. Gregory will be making his 37th consecutive start on Saturday against Baylor.

Gregory will move to the national ballot and try to become the first Missouri player to be named to a CoSIDA Academic All-American since Adam Crossett in 2007.

Sophomore placekicker, Grant Ressel, was given second team honors for his 3.64 GPA. Ressel, who is studying biological sciences, is 14-for-15 on field goal attempts and a perfect 23-23 on extra point tries this season. He is tied for the best accuracy rate in the country with 93.3 percent.
