The Beat: Columbia College athletics go international

COLUMBIA — Despite its small size and out-of-the-way location, Columbia College attracts athletes from all over the world. Eleven countries are currently represented on the school's various sports teams.

Columbia Missourian sports editor Greg Bowers and reporter Joan Niesen joined KBIA's Eric Durban on "The Beat" to discuss how the athletes get to Columbia and their transition upon arriving.
