COLUMBIA — A community group is sponsoring a public meeting Friday to discuss the dangers of Tasers.
Hosted by People For a Taser-Free Columbia, the meeting will feature two main speakers: former St. Louis police officer Redditt Hudson and Athena Bachtel, whose son died in August 2008 after being stunned by Moberly police.
The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Boone County Government Center, 801 E. Walnut St.
