Community group hosts meeting about Tasers

COLUMBIA — A community group is sponsoring a public meeting Friday to discuss the dangers of Tasers.

Hosted by People For a Taser-Free Columbia, the meeting will feature two main speakers: former St. Louis police officer Redditt Hudson and Athena Bachtel, whose son died in August 2008 after being stunned by Moberly police.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Boone County Government Center, 801 E. Walnut St.

Good! I guess these clueless people would rather the police just use their guns.
