COLUMBIA — A single-car crash Tuesday night in the 5100 block of Creasy Springs Road led to two drug charges.
According to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department, deputies found crack cocaine and marijuana among the property of Marco D. Campbell, the driver of the SUV that crashed.
Campbell, 25, of Columbia, was charged with:
Deputies determined that Campbell's SUV failed to negotiate a curve on Creasy Springs Road before driving off the road and hitting a sign, a parked vehicle and then a tree, according to the release.
Second-degree trafficking is a class A felony, so bond must be set by a judge. The bond for the trafficking charge has yet to be set. Each of the other three charges carries a $500 bond.
