COLUMBIA — Despite the departure of several key players, expectations remained high for the MU football team to compete for a Big 12 North division championship this season.

However, with a 6-4 record, the Tigers find themselves alone in fourth place.

Columbia Missourian sports editor Greg Bowers and reporters Robert Mays, Craig Thomas and Sam Wilson joined KBIA's Eric Durban on "The Beat" to talk about covering the team.
