Portion of Burr Oak Road to close this week

COLUMBIA — A portion of Burr Oak Road will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, weather permitting. The section of the road to be closed spans 500 feet on either side of the bridge in McBaine.

The construction will entail excavating portions of the pavement and pouring new pavement to better align the road with the bridge.

Boone County Public Works urges drivers to seek alternate routes and use caution in all work zones.
