Columbia College basketball falls to Lindenwood

COLUMBIA - In the second day of the Best Western Classic hosted by Columbia College, the Columbia Cougars fell to No. 12 ranked Lindenwood (Mo.) University 77-48.  The Cougars, ranked No. 19 in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll, are 3-7 on the season.   The Lions improve to 6-1 with today’s victory. 

Columbia was led  by Chad Thompson.  Thompson had 12 points and four rebounds.  Jaron Strickland added 11 points.

Columbia returns to action on Tuesday, December 1st when it travels to Batesville, Ark. to face Lyon (Ark.) College.
