Columbia College women's basketball stops Lyon

Batesville, Ark. – After being down by as many as 15 points in the first half, the Columbia College women's basketball team came from behind to defeat Lyon College  61-57  Saturday.  Columbia, ranked No. 14 in the Preseason NAIA Top 25 Poll, improves to 6-1 on the season.  Lyon College, 5-1, drops its first game of the seas.


Columbia plays again Monday against Benedictine (Kan.) University.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Arena of Southwell Complex.
