The Columbia College womens basketball team had three players record double-doubles in its 73-59 victory over Dillard (La.) on Thursday night in New Orleans.
Whitney Widaman had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Rachel Oswald had 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Veronica Smith had 11 points and 14 rebounds. It was the first time Cougars coach Mike Davis said he had three players accomplish the feat in the same game.
Junior Denise Rosario lead all scorers with 15 points. The No. 14 Cougars (8-1) have won their eighth game in a row after dropping the season opener to No. 1 Union University.
Columbia College remains in New Orleans to take on No. 21 Loyola (La.) on Saturday.
