A Boone County circuit judge granted a temporary order Dec. 2 for the reinstatement of Ted Anderson's driver's license. It was to be suspended because of his refusal to take a chemical test measuring his blood alcohol level, according to court documents, which also show Anderson's lawyer said he never refused to take this chemical test.
St. Louis Ballet to perform its version of "The Nutcracker" at MU
The St. Louis Ballet company will perform "The Nutcracker" in Columbia for the third year in a row. The company has danced to Artistic Director Gen Horiuchi's rendition of Tchaikovsky's ballet since his arrival to the St. Louis Ballet in 2000.

Italian jury convicts Amanda Knox to 26 years in prison
The American college student and her former Italian boyfriend have been charged with murder and sexual assault in the slaying of Meredith Kercher, a Briton, which took place more than two years ago. All three were studying in Italy at the time.
