Columbia College women defeat Loyola

COLUMBIA - The Columbia College women’s basketball team defeated Loyola University 81-65 on the road Saturday. 

Veronica Smith led the Cougars with 22 points and 12 rebounds.  Denise Rosario followed close behind with 20 points. 

The No. 14 NAIAA Cougars are 9-1 heading into an away match up against Peru State University (Neb.) on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
