LIBERTY — A man known as the Romeo of the Kansas City suburb, Raytown, faces new charges of swindling love interests.

Clay County court records show 34-year-old Ryan S. Blevins is accused of stealing at least $500 from a woman he was dating. He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.

Blevins also was charged in Jackson County with felony forgery for cheating a woman out of money in Blue Springs.

The Kansas City Star reported that it's not the first time he has faced charges of kissing and stealing.

Court records show he was convicted in federal court of bank fraud that involved swindling 22 women. He was sentenced to five months in prison and five years of probation and was ordered to pay $90,680 in restitution.

His probation recently was revoked.
