Missouri soccer players earn regional honors

COLUMBIA — Missouri women's soccer players Crystal Wagner and Kristin Andrighetto have been named to the NSCAA All-Central Region team. Wagner, a senior defender, was chosen to the first team, while Andrighetto, a senior striker, was picked for the third team. 

Wagner was also named the 2009 Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-Big 12 Conference team. 

In 2009, Andrighetto posted team-highs in points with 27 and goals with 11.  Andrighetto also scored a tournament-high three goals in the Big 12 tournament. 

TopDrawerSoccer.com recently chose both women as honorable mentions for the site's 2009 Team of the Season.
