Hickman boys basketball team edged at tournament

The Hickman boys' basketball team lost 49-47 to Park Hill South on Wednesday in the second round of the Blue Springs tournament.

The Kewpies were able to get three shots off in the final 20 seconds but were unable to get the ball to drop and tie the game.

Senior Lyle Harris led Hickman with 18 points, 12 that came on three-pointers.

The Kewpies will play for third place at 3:45 p.m. Saturday.
