Missouri golfer semifinalist for national award

COLUMBIA — Missouri women's golfer Madison Marcolla has been named a
semifinalist for the Wooden Citizenship Cup. The award recognizes an
outstanding role model among athletes that has made the greatest positive
influence in the lives of others.
Marcolla is among 25 semifinalists for the award that
include Texas quarterback Colt McCoy among other athletes around the nation. The
winner will be announced Jan. 19 at Atlanta’s East Lake Golf Club.
