Christmas services to be held in Columbia

COLUMBIA — Communion and candlelight are common during the holiday season. Below is a partial list of worship services in the community.

Christmas Eve services:

Noon, 5, 7, 9 and 11 p.m. Missouri United Methodist Church, 204 S. Ninth St. Communion service.

4:30, 6 and 7:30 p.m. Woodcrest Chapel, 2201 W. Nifong Blvd. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Central Missouri Food Bank.

5 p.m. Christian Chapel Assembly of God, 330 S. Providence Road. Pre-service music begins at 4:30 p.m.

5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The Crossing, 3615 Southland Drive. Childcare is provided for children younger than 5.

5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Forum Boulevard Christian Church, 3900 Forum Blvd.

5 and 7 p.m. and midnight Our Lady of Lourdes, 903 Bernadette Drive. One service will be in the church and one in Flanagan Hall. The later service will be in the church.

5, 7 and 11 p.m. First Christian Church, 101 N.Tenth St.

5:30 and 8 p.m. First Presbyterian Church, 16 Hitt St. The earlier service is geared toward young families.

5:30 p.m. Memorial Baptist Church, 1634 Paris Road. Communion service.

5:30 p.m. Rejoice Free Will Baptist Church, 1900 Chapel Hill Road.

5:30 p.m. Newman Center, 701 Maryland Ave. Children's liturgy.
