COLUMBIA — City, county and state offices will be closed on Friday for Christmas.
Trash, recycling and yard waste collections for Friday will be delayed until Saturday. The city sanitary landfill will also be closed.
City buses will not be in service on Friday, nor will parking meters be enforced. On Thursday, the last buses will depart from Wabash Station at 7:25 p.m.
The post office will be closed Friday, and no mail will be delivered.
County and state administrative offices will be closed on Christmas, including the police and fire department, but all emergency services will still be available.
