Boone County Sheriff's deputies search for suspect leads to drug arrests

COLUMBIA — A woman was arrested by the Boone County Sheriff's Department on Monday evening on a charge of manufacturing a controlled substance when police searched her house for a man with two active warrants.

David Shawn Palmer is currently on parole for robbery; police have two warrants for his arrest for parole violation and assault.

Officers could not find Palmer in at the home on the 9oo block of Shalimar Drive but saw methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. They obtained a search warrant and found evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing.

Jennifer L. Graen, 28, and another resident of the house were arrested.

Palmer has not been located.
