PrintCOLUMBIA — Three suspects were arrested in connection with the residential burglaries which occurred on Christmas Eve.
Police arrested Erin Johnson, 17, on charges of second-degree burglary in connection to five burglaries that occurred on Christmas Eve. Roosevelt Woods, 25, was arrested on second-degree burglary charges in connection with four of the five burglaries.
The residences burglarized include 2413 Santa Rosa Court, 2407 and 2419 Pimlico Court and 3510 and 3517 Marquis Court.
Johnson implicated himself and Woods in these burglaries, according to a release from the Columbia Police Department.
Stolen property recovered includes jewelery, coins and a computer.
Another suspect, Dennis Whitehead, 23, was identified by video surveillance from the Break Time located on 900 Conley Road. In the news release, police said the suspect used a stolen bankcard that was taken on Christmas Eve from Rolling Rock Drive.
Whitehead, who already had multiple warrants out for his arrest, was arrested on charges of fraudulent use of a credit device and receiving stolen property.
Whitehead implicated himself in the incident regarding the bank card, but denied involvement in the burglaries, according to the news release.
All three men were being held in Boone County Jail as of Wednesday evening.
