Five players scored in double figures for the Columbia College women's basketball team Tuesday, as the Cougars pushed its winning streak to 17 games with a 96-82 victory at Hannibal-LaGrange.
Veronica Smith, a 5-11 senior forward who transferred to Columbia College from Arkansas State scored a career high with 30 points and 11 rebounds, while Rachel Oswald had 21 point for the Cougars (17-1), who improved to 5-0 in the American Midwest Conference.
Whitney Widaman had 17 points and five assists, Denise Rosario scored 14, and Janita Session scored 10.
The Cougars, ranked No. 8 in the latest NAIA poll, host Missouri Baptist at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
