COLUMBIA — A Columbia resident was in custody after deputies received an anonymous tip that she was using methamphetamine in in her home in the presence of three juveniles, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
Erika M. Watson, 32, of Columbia, admitted to using and being in possession of methamphetamine when deputies arrived , according to the release. During the investigation, Watson gave deputies methamphetamine in powder form and drug paraphernalia, according to the release. Three juveniles were present during the investigation.
Watson was charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of endangering welfare of a child. Watson was being held in Boone County Jail with a bond set at $22,500, according to the release.
