Stephens women's basketball team drops another AMC game

The Stephens women's basketball team lost 75-54 on Tuesday at McKendree to fall to 7-8 overall and 0-4 in the American Midwest Conference.

Jessica McConnell led the Stars with 14 points. Bre McLaughlin scored 12, Cara Leis had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Megan Sheffield had 11 rebounds.

Stephens plays next against visiting AMC foe Harris Stowe at 7 p.m. Saturday at Silverthorne Arena.
