I-70 work Tuesday night; delays expected

COLUMBIA — If you are driving to Columbia from the west this Tuesday, prepare for some delays.

Eastbound travel west of Columbia on Interstate 70 will be cut to one lane in two locations Tuesday night, as the Missouri Department of Transportation repairs a guardrail at Perche Creek and lays down rumble strip at Midway near Route 40, MoDOT resident engineer Charles Sullivan said.

The lane restrictions will last only one night, starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday and ending at 6 a.m. Wednesday.
