Local bars are used to seeing the occasional Kansas fan among their customers on game nights. Ted Yemm, a bartender at Harpo’s, says that the atmosphere in the bars usually remains friendly even during Kansas and Missouri games.
Rick Robertson, an owner of Booches Billiard Hall, says he hasn’t ever seen a problem between fans. “For basketball or football, we have a lot of KU fans come in; they’re really good fans, they’re loyal to their team,” Robertson said.
