I-70 guardrail repair Monday may slow traffic

COLUMBIA — A guardrail and cable repair will close one lane on each side of Interstate 70 midday on Monday. 

The repair at mile marker 148 is slated to begin at 11 a.m. and take one to two hours.

The repair will likely require the construction crew to close the left lane for both east- and westbound traffic, said Elizabeth Duvall, a work zone coordinator for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The repair is a result of a Jan. 22 accident.
