Chase Daniel, former MU quarterback, led the Tigers to its first two Big 12 North Division championships in school history and was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2007 during the second of his three seasons as a starter.
Daniel was signed by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in late April, but he was dropped from the roster after the preseason concluded.
A day later, Daniel was added to the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad. By late September, Daniel was moved to the active roster and could be seen in uniform on the sidelines during the Saints 31-28 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game. Daniel has not seen any professional playing time since the preseason.
Are you more likely to root for the Saints over the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl because Chase Daniel is on the Saints’ roster?

Of course......Daniel is a winner....worked hard...overcame negative input, and got results......GO Daniel
I'll be rooting for the Saints regardless, but having Daniels there is definitely a plus. Now if he could just log some playing time...
