KSDK/Channel 5 reported that contest organizers have received portfolios from 49 teams to invigorate the Arch grounds and the area of St. Louis that surrounds the Arch.
This week, a competition jury will review the portfolios and reduce the field to eight to 10 teams. The goal is to cut the ribbon on the new and improved Arch area on Oct. 28, 2015. That's the 50th anniversary of the completion of the Arch.
